THX Video Training is a 3 day hands on video setup and calibration training event that will take place in conjunction with the CEDIA Expo in Dallas TX, on October 18, 19  and 20, 2015.

The program is split into two levels. The first day (level 1) includes the basics of video setup and calibration, after completion of which an attendee will become a THX Certified Professional. The Level 2 portion is on days 2 and 3 and on completion an attendee will become a THX Certified Video Professional. The THX Video Training Program is continuously updated and current topics include: 4K and 8K formats, Rec 2020 Colour Space, BT 1886 Gamma, High Dynamic Range (HDR) Options, Creating 3D LUT Colour Spaces, and emerging technologies including OLED, and laser.

The Training is being held at the Crowne Plaza Dallas Market, and has a free shuttle to Love Field. THX Video Training students (Level 1 and Level 2) may attend the Quantum Data HDMI Trouble Shooting Course at 2 pm on October 17th at the Crowne Plaza at no additional cost.  The Quantum Data class will be presented by marketing manager for Quantum Data Neal Kendall.
