Following the success of the MMX8x8-HDMI-4K-A-USB20 matrix switcher from Lightware, the company has introduced a more compact version that offers similar benefits with USB connectivity and a 4×2 crosspoint layout.

Dubbed the MMX4x2-HDMI-USB20-L, the smaller system is a USB 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 compatible standalone matrix which gives users easy integration and signal management for seamless control of up to four USB peripherals and four hosts.

The latest device comes packed with Lighware’s state-of-the-art technology and boasts the video signals up to 4K UHD 60Hz, the ability to integrate with Cisco Room, using the Cisco system as a USB camera and a built-in event manager controls room utilities.

Included in the device are advanced control pack features which make it ideal for smaller environments where quality over quantity is a bigger concern.
