Synergy Audio Visual will launch its New Zealand distribution, commencing operations on 1 November 2024 with the establishment of local operations that include warehousing and the appointment of a local NZ country manager.

The launch will be facilitated by the acquisition of several shared brands from PQ Imports, a leading distribution company based in Hamilton, NZ.

“We are excited to bring the finest hi-fi and home cinema brands to the NZ market. We thank Paul and Joy Quilter for developing and supporting many of these brands over the years,” Synergy Audio Visual managing director Philip Sawyer says.

“We hope to continue providing the same high level of support, service and care that PQ Imports has provided, as well as bringing additional opportunities for the New Zealand market.”  Some products and brands that will be brought to the NZ market include Advance Paris, MoFi Electronics, R_Volution, REL Acoustics, Ruark Audio, GoldenEar, ViewSonic Home Cinema and Vivitek.
