Switzerland’s NEEO joins Control4 Corporation
Switzerland-based remote company NEEO has recently joined Control4 Corporation.
Control4, a global company for smart home systems, has acquired NEEO, a developer of remote products that include keypads, remotes and touch panels.
NEEO made a name for itself with its simple designs, and for its variety of devices. The company is based in Bern, Switzerland, but will be working with Control4 engineers in the United States. The development of the next round of Control4 remote products will take place in Salt Lake City, led by NEEO’s founder Raphael Oberholzer.
Control4 chairman and chief executive Martin Plaehn says, “Raphael built a customer-centric product team with proven strengths in industrial design, product development and user experience. We’re keen to add NEEO’s unique expertise and Swiss design ethic to enhance our plans for reimagining the way home owners interact with their Control4 systems. We’re excited to welcome the NEEO team to the Control4 family.”
Raphael says, “From the start, it was obvious that both our companies are passionate for customer-centric design. By joining the Control4 team, we can execute our shared vision to accelerate the creation of products consumers want in their smart home.”
Control4 will showcase its range in smart home solutions at ISE 2019 in Amsterdam, 4-8 February.
