Famous for its architecture, neoclassical chapel and starring roles in Hollywood films, the Old Royal Naval College is opening its doors to celebrate the ninth annual CEDIA Awards. Designed over 300 years ago by one of the most highly acclaimed English architects in history, Christopher Wren, the grounds have since starred in block buster scenes including James Bond’s Skyfall, Les Miserables and Thor. Tracing the steps of Pierce Brosnan and Anne Hathaway, guests will enjoy the luxurious grounds at one of the most dramatically positioned architectural and landscape ensemble in Britain.
As one of the most anticipated events in the residential custom install calendar, the esteemed CEDIA Awards recognises and promotes high quality system design, installation and integration within the home automation industry. Over 300 guests are expected to attend the awards presentation night which will begin with a drinks reception in King William Colonades.

“We are delighted to celebrate this year’s CEDIA awards in such an iconic building rich in history,” says CEDIA Region 1 executive director Wendy Griffiths.

“We have been lucky enough to have an astounding precedent of past venues including The Pavilion at The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and One Mayfair to name but a few. After last year’s award ceremony proving to be one of the most successful awards to date, we endeavour to triumph this feat at the 2014 CEDIA awards. The Old Royal Navy is the ideal venue to showcase architecture, custom install and design featured in the wonderful projects put forward by Home Technology Professionals (HTP).”
