Most recently SpeakerCraft co-sponsored The Power of Four Summer Tour with Lutron, D-Tools, and Monster Cable. This four city tour was directed at informing dealers about the “new” era we live in and how to capitalise on opportunities. BDX and Builder Homesite chairman and chief executive Tim Costello was the keynote speaker and all manufacturers participated in workshops exploring the opportunities Costello presented with the industry attendees. SpeakerCraft believes that strong partnerships with other manufacturers strengthens the industry.

Educating SpeakerCrafts dealers does not stop with a four city tour. SpeakerCraft president Jeremy Burhardt, his focus since early May he has personally visited every SC market and conducted a town hall style meeting. These meetings have spanned the globe, and have been informal in style, but have brought together hundreds of SpeakerCraft dealers sharing ideas for the advancement of an industry. Each town hall gig is hosted by Burkhardt and lasts approximately four hours.

“To my surprise the dealers actually opened up a bit to one another about their mutual challenges and the “we are fierce competitors” stuff faded as people met face to face,” says Frontline sales and marketing Kevin Klotzbach.

“The content of the meeting was good and I was surprised Jeremy never got to his powerpoint. Dealers interacting for 3 hours was pretty cool to see.”

“We don’t talk product, any person out there can pick up a manual or a specification sheet and read about product, we teach and explore real life opportunities,” says SpeakerCraft president Jeremy Burkhardt.

“Education is something we are passionate about and will continuing touring the country providing the best educational programs for our dealers out there.” SpeakerCraft’s town hall gig tour continues with upcoming dates in Boston and Denver.
