SoundBase app expands free features at ISE 2026, streamlining wireless audio management
SoundBase is showcasing an update to its free Standard Edition (SE) app at ISE 2026, giving live audio professionals real-time control of one manufacturer’s wireless devices per project, a feature previously limited to the Pro version.
The free SE edition supports wireless systems from twenty major manufacturers, including Shure, Wisycom, Sound Devices and Sennheiser, providing RF planning, project management and now hands-on device control for a single manufacturer per project. Cloud-based access ensures teams can operate from any device with a modern browser, with all changes automatically synced for real-time collaboration.

“The free SoundBase SE version gives engineers free, per‑project real‑time control of one manufacturer’s networked devices, the same hands-on device control that used to require Pro, while SoundBase Pro remains the multi-vendor powerhouse for rental houses and large productions,” SoundBase co-founder Donny Kuser says.
SoundBase also features interactive maps with crowd-sourced spectrum data to assist planning, messaging for in-app team coordination and real-time report sharing between productions. Looking ahead, the platform aims to expand beyond wireless coordination, with planned modules for A1/A2 mixers, stage plotting and production scheduling.
SoundBase Pro builds on SE’s capabilities, offering multi-manufacturer control, advanced project management and premium support, making it ideal for large tours and rental fleets.
“Before SoundBase, audio teams were juggling multiple manufacturer-specific applications, spreadsheets and PDFs across disparate systems. We’ve unified these critical functions into one intuitive platform that allows professionals to focus on what matters most which is delivering flawless live sound experiences,” SoundBase co-founder Matt Dale says.
