The BRAVIA NX710 and NX810 are Full HD 3D optional, and their arrival boosts Sony’s 3D TV count to 13 models.

The new TVs also feature BRAVIA internet video, which means viewers can experience more channels and entertainment on demand, whenever they choose.

“Sony’s unmatched expertise in all areas of 3D technology enables us to deliver TVs that truly set the standard, and the NX710 and NX810 are no exception,” Sony Australia product manager for TV Jan Ergen says.

“The new NX series offers superior picture quality in both 3D and 2D, as well as providing a statement in design and technology. This, combined with the breadth of BRAVIA internet video content, puts Sony at the forefront of home entertainment, offering Australians the best TV experience.”

TV on your terms
With BRAVIA internet video capability, the NX series provides viewers with access to online, on-demand content from catch-up TV channels like ABC iView and Yahoo!7, and music streaming sites like Moshcam.

There are currently over 20 BRAVIA internet video channels with more expected in the future. The new models also have BRAVIA internet widgets, which allow owners to find out what their friends are up to with updates from sites like Twitter and Facebook and view photos from Flickr – all via the TV screen.

The stylish NX series feature Sony’s Monolithic Design concept, a simple design that allows the television to integrate seamlessly into a modern living space, whether it is switched on or off.

Even slimmer and with a thinner border than its predecessors, the NX710 and NX810 feature a clean and sleek glass front, as well as concealed, touch sensitive controls on the back.

Launching at the same time as the new BRAVIA TVs are Sony’s new small size 3D glasses (TDGBR50B), designed to fit comfortably on smaller heads. Featuring the same technology as Sony’s flagship glasses, the new models work with all BRAVIA 3D optional and 3D integrated TVs.
