Providing access to music throughout the home, the new sound bars, wireless speakers, and audio/video receivers enable music fans to easily listen to their wherever they are.

By developing unique audio technologies, Sony has designed these products to reproduce master quality recordings just as the artist originally intended, while also supporting 4K content. “Imagine stepping into your home and being greeted by your favourite music being streamed seamlessly throughout every room. With a touch of a button, you can access a world of music options and control all the connected speakers within in your home,” says  head of video, sound & tablet for Sony Australia & New Zealand Abel Makhraz.

The new range of home audio products will offer Google Cast and Spotify Connect, providing consumers a greater selection of music outside of their personal library. The new Google Cast platform allows you to control music directly from the apps you already know and love, like Deezer and Google Play Music. Simply tap the cast button and select speakers to get started. Furthermore, with the dedicated Sony app SongPal, you can do a one-time set-up and intuitively control your speakers through its drag and drop interface.

These new products feature Sony’s exclusive LDAC technology that intelligently optimises wireless transmission to enjoy uninterrupted pristine audio. Stability is further enhanced with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), which provides a more secure signal path with less interference, ensuring rock-solid playback of music streaming services

Sound Bars

The HT-NT3 supports 4K content from major studios via HDCP 2.2, and features Google Cast, Spotify Connect, as well as Multi-room capability via the SongPal app. Enjoy pristine audio clarity and strong bass with special coaxial setting speakers. This 2.1 channel premium sound bar with wireless subwoofer also features an ultra-slim and stylish design that will match today’s television designs.

The perfect companion to your home cinema set-up, the HT-XT3 can be placed underneath and support the 2015 range of Sony BRAVIA TVs (up to 65 inches), and is furnished with a sleek and space-saving design. Pump up the bass with dual 11cm subwoofer units and also enjoy a pristine Hi-Res audio experience.

Wireless Speakers

Featuring Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Multi-room capability via the SongPal app, the new range of wireless speakers will include three new models, providing consumers with more options to listen to the music they love in dynamic sound, no matter where they are.

The new SRS-X99 wireless speaker features Hi-Res Audio with exceptional clarity and spacious, richly-textural original sound (154W, 2.1channel, DSEE HX, and S-Master HX) and a stylish design. A/V Receivers

Following the success of the STRDN1050 and STRDN850 AV receivers, the new STR-DN1060 and STR-DN860 come with improved analogue and digital circuitry. The 7.2 channel amplifiers feature Pure Direct mode to keep the audio path clean and eliminate potential noise from digital circuits.

Continuing Sony’s tradition of class-leading sound quality and versatility, these A/V receivers fully embrace support for 4K content with HDCP 2.2 as well as full smartphone connectivity options with MHL 3.0 and Screen Mirroring. The new A/V receivers also showcase the highest formidable build for high quality multi-channel audio reproduction and support for Hi-Res audio, including DSD formats up to 5.6MHz over USB and Network.
