Sonos will be set to release Era 100 Pro, its first solution for professional installation.

Scheduled for January 2025, the Era 100 Pro will bring a simplified setup with PoE+, versatile orientation via a pro-grade mount and more customisable control with zones, a new software tool to manage larger-scale installations.

“Following our entry into the $2B light commercial audio market last year with Sonos Pro we are now making our hardware debut with Era 100 Pro. In collaboration with our global partners, we’re committed to furthering our commercial business and offering new, much-needed solutions to this market,” Sonos chief executive Patrick Spence says.

Enabling flexible configurations in various settings, Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by eliminating the need for AC power at each speaker location, enhancing reliability, speed and performance.

Premium acoustic architecture delivers high-quality sound and impressive low-frequency performance, making Era 100 Pro a standout in the PoE speaker category, while the new zones feature offers a more customisable way to control larger-scale installations, allowing speakers to be grouped for a unified audio experience.

The versatile Surface Mount, with its 30° pan and tilt ranges and 360° rotation, enables flexible installation in any orientation. The indexed ball joint ensures precise and repeatable angles, while the locking base plate provides added security. Safety enhancements, such as a built-in threaded insert and optional eyebolt, ensure the speaker’s stability and durability.
