Snap One introduces the Luma 4K hybrid surveillance cameras to X20
Snap One has introduced a new line of Luma 4K hybrid cameras. The cameras are available with a fixed or motorised varifocal lens in turret or bullet-style housings.
Snap One senior director of surveillance products at Forest Liu says that the merger of companies will only ensure continued innovation.

“Innovation in security, particularly video surveillance, continues to be a top request of both residential and commercial customers,” he says.
“As a combined business, Snap One and ADI are committed to investing in the products and solutions our customers need to create safe and reliable systems. The unique features embodied by the hybrid 4K cameras broaden ADI and Snap One’s security offerings and help customers deliver tailored security solutions across their entire customer base.”
Integrators can choose either IR night vision or colour-at-night mode to allow for optimal control based on the setting and environment the camera will be installed.
OvrC allows customers to adjust the mode for the end user in case they prefer one mode over another, to prevent getting a support truck.
The cameras feature built-in Active Deterrence, combining LED lights, alarm tones or preset voice annunciations.
AI-enabled smart event analytics permit the cameras to distinguish between a person, vehicle and non-vehicle to provide accuracy to the end user using the Luma View app.
