Sim2 C3X LUMIS UNO and C3X LUMIS 3D
The Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS series now offers several levels of 3-chip DLP sophistication, providing even more options for serious home cinema fans. Joining the award-winning C3X LUMIS and C3X LUMIS HOST are the C3X LUMIS UNO and C3X LUMIS 3D.
C3X LUMIS UNO
The C3X LUMIS UNO projector conceals a trio of DarkChip4 1080p DLP chipsets from Texas Instruments. Designed for use with large screen sizes (up to 5m wide) the UNO boasts 2000 ANSI lumens and a 9000:1 contrast ratio.

C3X LUMIS 3D
Designed for use in 3D theatres or high-end custom home cinemas, the LUMIS 3D is a precision two-projector system that will satisfy the most demanding 3D enthusiast or professional alike. The system uses INFITEC 3D filter technology, with motorised 2D/3D filter selection and includes a mounting assembly with micro-metric adjustment for accurate convergence. The SIM2 LUMIS 3D system does not require a silver screen material to operate correctly, allowing for optimum performance in 2D with normal content. Due to the high brightness of the units, the system can be set-up in redundancy mode for fail-safe 2D entertainment. Two pairs of passive glasses are included.
INFITEC technology
INFITEC Wavelength Multiplex Imaging is a passive 3D stereo visualisation technology adopted successfully for professional digital cinema and simulation applications. Coupled with SIM2 projection technologies it results in a reliable performing solution.
Quality
By using screens with gain = 1, stereo images are rendered fully homogeneous – no hot spots.
Channel separation is superior compared to polariser technology; that means no ghost effect and no need of extra custom processing between 2D and 3D.
Clear and bright images are achieved by means of high quality quartz glass filters in the projectors and 3D glasses.
Filters in the INFITEC 3D glasses are passive elements that consume no power. Maintenance is not required for the INFITEC 3D glasses.
INFITEC is a perfect match with 3-chip DLP and is the same technology selected by Dolby for its Digital Cinemas
