The extender converts HDMI into five coaxial signals, allowing super long lengths of 4.95Gbps bandwidth for 1080p 60Hz to be extended for over 100m.

The extender is fully v1.3c certified and can handle the full high speed of HDMI’s 10.2Gbps bandwidth for an unprecedented 55m. This is a first for any extension technology for copper cable, outside optical fibre.

The 5BNC coax connections also mean that the extender can be used to retrofit existing RGBHV 5BNC video installations. These older legacy analogue systems can now be updated and converted in the latest digital HDMI, with the highest resolutions available, with 7.1 channel uncompressed digital audio as a bonus, through the same line.
