Shure has unveiled the Wireless Workbench Mobile, an app designed to give audio professionals full control of their wireless systems on the go.

Replacing the previous ShurePlus Channels app, this next-generation tool is now available for free on iOS and Android, delivering advanced functionality such as mobile frequency coordination, guided alerts and real-time system monitoring directly from a smartphone or tablet.

The Wireless Workbench Mobile enables engineers to manage Shure wireless systems away from the rack or laptop. The app lets users scan and assign clean frequencies quickly, ensuring reliable setup whether deploying a wireless system as a whole or adding a single channel. While frequency coordination is currently available only on iOS, support for Android devices is planned for 2026.

The app provides flexible access via WiFi or Ethernet, making it a reliable companion for live sound, broadcast and installed AV professionals. Customisation tools allow users to tag and organise channels, set personalised alerts and receive guided setups to troubleshoot issues before they impact production. A redesigned interface highlights key channel data and offers improved navigation through search tools, side-panel alerts and clearer labelling.
