Sporting a screen size ranging from 40” to a massive 500”, the XV-Z17000 delivers 3D visual experiences via IR Link, combined with a full-HD resolution (1920×1980 Pixels), high contrast ratio of 40,000:1 and exceptional image brightness (up to 1600 Lumens).

The projector also comes with two pairs of 3D active shutter glasses.

“Many homes are now being built with the option of a media room and we’re seeing a trend in families naturally opting for premium projectors to fit these spaces and give them the ultimate cinema-like viewing experience at home,” Dennis says.

This model has extensive connectivity with two HDMI terminals, as well as inputs available from a variety of sources including PCs, HD set top boxes, Blu-ray/DVD players and game consoles.

To maintain images without distortion, the projector includes vertical and horizontal keystone correction and an image shift function.

Meanwhile, low fan noise of just 23dB in eco + quiet mode reduces distraction while watching movies, sporting events and programming of any kind.

The projector is well suited for permanent installation with One Touch Play and System Standby functions on remote control, as well as capability for operation via universal control systems via an RS-232C port.

This model also offers features designed for safe mobility including a sliding lens cover, a Kensington security standard connector and security bar for antitheft and key lock function.

The XV-Z17000 also offers several features for energy savings, including low standby power consumption and expanded lamp life when operated in eco mode. Lower maintenance costs are achieved with the projector’s sealed DLP chip and filter-free design.
