By employing AQUOS NET functionality, the new 80-inch model becomes more than just a television, it combines all the AV needs of the home so there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy. Through this function, users can access a multitude of internet applications including YouTube Leanback, Skype, social media sites, and web browsing – all at the press of a button.

The LC-80LE940X television also features Sharp’s leading-edge technology, the 4th Generation Quattron with High Speed LCD. Combined with a full Array LED backlight, the LC-80LE940X offers uniform illumination, outstanding contrast and true-to-life colours.

A clear picture is ensured by the high speed response, Japanese made LCD panel and Aquomotion Pro Technology, so when combined with Yamaha’s LSI Audio Engine offers a great all round experience.

The new premium model also includes numerous other premium features such as an aluminium frame bezel, a dual core processor for faster processing, and a USB media playback function which allows users to play music, videos or watch a photo slideshow. On top of that, users can also catch their favourite programs with the addition of a USB Timeshift Plus function, giving users the ability to pause, replay and record live programming.

The Sharp LC-80LE940X television (which includes a pair of 3D glasses and a wireless dongle), will be available in all major electrical retail outlets at the end of August.
