The LC-40M500X incorporates Sharp’s Full HD Panel with CCFL backlight technology and a HD inbuilt digital tuner.

“Digital audio clarity is also ensured with the LC-40M500X featuring a digital amplifier and high power audio output (10W per channel), combined with Dolby Digital surround sound for movie theatre-like sound enhancement,” says Mark.

The LC-40M500X hosts a range of connections including HDMI terminals for ‘digital to digital’ connection to a variety of AV equipment, plus a comprehensive choice of analogue inputs and outputs, including an audio out terminal.

Additionally, HDMI and AQUOS Link features allow users to seamlessly control compatible HDMI connected products using a single remote control. Other features, such as Advanced Optical Picture Control (OPC) automatically adjusts the screen to suitable backlight brightness according to the ambient lighting conditions also included in this model.
