Extron has released select models of the FOX3 Series, the latest high-performance family of fibre optic extenders and matrix switchers for end-to-end distribution of audio, video, control, USB and 3D sync.

The enterprise fibre platform support HDMI 2.0 data rates up to 18Gbps and is HDCP 2.3 compliant for the secure transmission of uncompressed 4K/60 4:4:4 video over two fibres or mathematically lossless video over one fibre.

FOX3 extenders feature built-in USB for KVM applications while Extron-exclusive vector 4K scaling technology ensuring the highest image quality. Delivering exceptional reliability and advanced capabilities such as audio breakaway, audio embedding/de-embedding, DMP and Dante integration, the FOX3 Series meets the demands of any mission-critical environment.

The FOX3 Series distributes AV signals through a wide selection of modular matrix switchers from 8×8 to 320×320 with enterprise-class features like redundant power supplies, hot-swappable modules and Ethernet monitoring.
