Screen Innovations shows off wireless motorised screens at ISEScreen Innovation (SI) has announced it will be showcasing the Solo motorised projection screen at ISE 2018 at booth #1-N85.

Powered by an intelligent lithium core motor, Solo requires zero wiring and is charged by SI’s patent pending magnetic power cord that provides over two years of life with one charge.

SI will be showing two variations of the Solo screen, a 100” configuration that comes in a clear anodised cassette and the Solo Pro, which can be ordered in 12 different colours and in low-voltage. The Solo Pro will be suspended on aircraft grade cables.

“Colour options are just one more way in which integrators can customise their installations to suit the environments in which screens are placed. Imagine matching Solo Pro to the wall colour that it’s placed on. You would have a massive screen that blends in with the environment and seemingly appears out of nowhere. No one else offers this level of customisation on a screen anywhere,” says Screen Innovations director of marketing Skyler Meek.

SI will also be showing a new type of Zero Edge screen called Zero Edge Pro.

Zero Edge Pro is 36 screens in one and offers the same customisation options available in Solo Pro.

“Our goal with Zero Edge Pro was to give our customers the power to choose. Fixed frame screens have always been just a means to an end. No one ever asked the customer what they wanted. In product development, that’s always our first step,” says Screen Innovation chief executive Ryan Gustafson.

Also on display at will be SI’s existing line-up, including FlexGlass, a rollable rear projection glass-like screen, the motorised Zero-G that can be dropped in front of a bay of windows and Black Diamond XL that allows users to build a 150” diagonal Black Diamond screen.

Additionally, SI has announced that Slate, its alternative ALR material, which uses surface layers to reject ambient light, is now available in a much larger size, expanding its maximum height capabilities to 189”. This makes a seamless 375” diagonal ALR screen possible.
