The SBS On Demand app gives users access to a vast range of the high quality and unique programming that SBS is well known for – TV shows, films and event footage from around the world – all available at any time, including full episodes, clips and live streams.

Panasonic Australia VIERA group marketing manager Matt Pearce says, “The addition of SBS On Demand on the VIERA Connect platform is an exciting addition. With the SBS app, viewers will have the option to watch their favourite shows when they want giving viewers even greater flexibility in the home.

“VIERA Connect now has a host of content available from social networking such as Facebook to movies on demand from Quickflix, offering a channel for everyone.”

Viewers can also select any SBS videos, programs or entire series and add them to their own unique playlist. They can then easily browse and search the full catalogue of videos as well as receive recommendations about the content most relevant for them.

Panasonic’s cloud-based VIERA Connect service allows almost an unlimited number of apps and ensures that the user always has the most up-to-date versions, without having to worry about upgrades. SBS joins a host of other services including Ovation, ABC iView, videos, music and interactive games as well as social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
