The MCS-24SE will drive up to 12 of Savant’s On-Screen Display (OSD) user interfaces and offers installers tremendous flexibility through six universal input/output slots that can accommodate any audio or video source.

Further integration enhancements include a new chassis configuration featuring front panel LED indicators and removable faceplates for easy access to optional hot-swappable redundant (dual) power supplies and field-replaceable fans, greatly increasing ease of maintenance and overall reliability ideal for commercial applications.

The MCS-24SE is modular and quite flexible, featuring an integrated controller with 25 control ports plus slots for additional service cards to easily accommodate the changing needs of each customer. An optional master host controller provides iTunes digital media server capabilities when paired with the MSC-24SE and optional redundant host controllers are offered for high reliability.

The MSC-24SE can provide audio processing and distribution by adding optional surround sound or stereo input and output modules (unbalanced or balanced). The MSC-24SE can support up to 48 stereo audio zones in a single solution. The audio processing module supports surround sound decoding and matrix processing, including the most popular Dolby and DTS decoders. The digital preamplifier stage features 16 independent channels, of which eight are designed to provide multi-channel sound in one zone, while the other eight feed an additional four stereo zones.
