Savant’s Partners in Excellence initiative has been designed to achieve global compatibility between Savant’s control systems and a diverse group of best-in-class manufacturers from the audio, video, lighting control, HVAC, and security industries, as well as devices and subsystems from many related markets. Improvements to the program include increased profile development efficiency allowing support for more products at a quicker pace as well as accelerated channel collaboration and communication between Savant and program participants.

“Our goals for the new program are to step up communication with partners on such matters as product updates and new technology development to make certain that integrators have a seamless experience out in the field,” says Savant director of business development Bob Ross.

The new program will also seek to better partition technology partners from service/solutions partners to better support each group and provide a host of valuable resources to integrators. Ross also indicated that his team will begin to work more closely with the architect and designer communities to increase brand awareness for both Savant and partner solutions. This will include working with program participants to promote education and co-host AIA, ASID, USGBC and other training events around the country. Additionally, the Partners in Excellence initiative will seek to collaborate more effectively with specifiers, system designers and consultants, enabling Savant to position program participants favourably.

The core of Savant’s technology is an open programmable platform built upon the Mac OS X operating system supporting various communication protocols and offering high speed AV switching, scaling and processing.
