“Home audio has come a long way. It is no longer about simply listening to music from a single room, as Samsung believes that people are seeking a solution that is versatile enough to provide a great sound experience around the home and that can integrate with multiple sources whether it be a compatible smartphone or selected online streaming service,” Samsung Electronics Australia audio visual director Brad Wright says.

“The new Samsung Sound range is great for families and music enthusiasts who are looking for products that deliver a quality sound experience for the home and that is both easy to set up and control.”

Multiroom Link

Control of compatible audio products through one central ecosystem can be managed via Multiroom Link which allows users to access music from multiple sources over an existing WiFi network. To access music, simply download the ‘Wireless Audio – Multiroom’ app (available on Android or iOS) to a compatible device and select the source and desired Multiroom Link speaker for playback.

Consumers can play any digital track from their personal collection or from a music streaming service, all controlled from a compatible smartphone. Samsung Blu-ray players and Samsung Smart TVs can also act as a music source, while compatible Samsung Soundbars and Samsung Home Theatre System speakers can provide outputs. The Multiroom Link ecosystem connects compatible devices through a multi-channel mesh network, so users can listen to Cloud Control in the kitchen and Flight Facilities in the lounge room, all at the same time.

Selected online music services include Pandora, Spotify Connect, TuneIn Radio, Deezer, RDIO, and 8Tracks.

Samsung M5 and M7 speakers

Featuring a new triangular design, and equipped with Bluetooth and NFC technology+, the M5 and M7 speakers form a superb in-home audio system. The foam core woofer delivers deep bass reproduction, while the CNT pulp cone mid-range speakers and silk dome tweeters (M7 only) produce clean mid and high range tones.

The M5 and M7 speakers are equipped with Bluetooth and NFC+ capabilities to allow compatible smartphones to pair with the speakers to share music quickly and easily.

The new range features a minimalistic triangular design that is intended to suit any environment from the home to the office. Available in both black and white, the speakers are compact enough to be neatly tucked away in the corner or placed flat on a shelf so that they blend seamlessly into their surroundings.

The M5 and M7 speakers support several audio file formats, including AAC, MP3, OGG, FLAC, and more.

Samsung Series 7 Soundbar (HW-H751)

The new HW-H751 Samsung Series 7 soundbar amplifies the home entertainment experience with 320W of vibrant sound. The soundbar combines the warmth and natural sound of analogue produced through the vacuum tube pre-amplifier, with the latest Samsung digital audio technology to deliver rich and powerful sound. The Soundbar features 4.1 channel sound which includes an 8-inch wireless active 160W subwoofer.

The Samsung Series 7 Soundbar also supports BT Power On which allows previously paired Bluetooth devices to activate the Soundbar remotely by simply selecting it on a compatible device. This removes the need to use the remote control to turn on the Soundbar each time it’s needed. Users can wake it up with just one touch and enjoy high quality audio.

Featuring a sleek, metallic design, the Series 7 Soundbar is designed to look as good as it sounds when paired with a compatible large screen Samsung Smart TV.

Samsung Series 7 Home Theatre System (HT-H7750)

The 7.1 channel Samsung Series 7 home theatre system (HT-H7750) is an all-in-one home entertainment solution that produces 1330W of powerful sound. It features a vacuum tube pre-amplifier to deliver warm and rich audio throughout the room.

Partnering with leading digital audio developer, DTS Inc., Samsung is the first consumer electronics brand to offer the new DTS Neo: Fusion II codec for 2014. This incredible audio technology creates virtual 9.1 channels of output by interpolating source material to help produce an auditory experience with depth and direction.

The impressive tallboy speakers house mid-range drivers and tweeters, and also front height speakers that can be angled upward to create height channels to help provide an immersive surround sound experience. As a result, 7.1 channel surround sound can be achieved with only six speakers (two tallboys, two rear satellites, one centre speaker and one sub-woofer).
