Ruark unveils the MR1 Mk3
Ruark, distributed by Synergy Audio Visual in Australia, has unveiled the MR1 Mk3. It is the latest evolution of its highly lauded MR1 desktop speaker system, first introduced in 2013.
The handcrafted wood cabinets are now more sophisticated looking with finely detailed bevelled front edges and new Slate Grey fabric grilles. The enclosure has been expanded to allow optimum volume for Ruark’s new NS+ Bass/Mid units and the amplifier. Ruark has adapted the Class D technology used in its R410. This results in a substantial increase in power output and control.

The MR1 Mk3 delivers deeper, more controlled bass, a lucid midrange and exceptional detail from Ruark’s custom 20mm silk dome tweeters. It features enhanced USB audio and Bluetooth capabilities to ensure seamless integration with modern devices. Equipped with AptX HD Bluetooth technology, the MR1 Mk3 supports pristine wireless streaming and low-latency audio.
For wired applications, the MR1 Mk3 introduces a USB audio input. Additional line-in and optical inputs also provide flexibility for connecting third-party devices such as a WiFi music streamer.
