Control and automation systems manufacturer, RTI has launched the CX10 touch panel which the manufacturer says delivers simple and intuitive control of environment and entertainment.

The 10” high-resolution LCD touch screen can act as a HD video display via its HDBaseT input.

With a built-in composite input and video intercom support, users can view security cameras and other devices.

Integrators can install the touch panel on a countertop or invert it and mount it under a cabinet. The fully adjustable screen is designed to enable the best viewing angle and the versatility of the CX10 allows seamless installation in many environments.

For ease of installation the unit boasts wired and wireless Ethernet for two-way control and feedback and for convenient programming. The built-in IR and RS-232 ports allow the CX10 to be fully integrated into a RTI control system facilitating direct control of other equipment and devices.

The release comes shortly after the manufacturer revealed the new features and functionality of its programming software, Integration Designer APEX.

The software dramatically speeds up the installation process while maintaining the ability for easy customisation.

The functionality of the software has now been enhanced and includes auto generation of the graphical user interface, a new IR library, support for multi-room programming and the ability to resize bitmap graphics.

RTI is distributed in Australia and NZ by Avation.
