Roon Nucleus now shipping
Roon Labs, which is distributed by Interdyn, has announced its custom-built hardware Nucleus and Nucleus+ are now shipping.
Nucleus and Nucleus+ allow users to stream music throughout their house with unparalleled freedom. In one app users can access their locally stored music files, as well as music from Tidal, USB hard drives and NAS drives, and stream it to a host of Roon-ready devices. These include OPPO UDP-205, AirPlay devices, Devialet Expert, Devialet Phantom, Sonos speakers and selected Pro-Kect DAC Box and Pre Box models, as well as a host of other brands.

Supporting up to five zones streaming simultaneously, Nucleus has a library of almost 120,000 tracks and basic DSP settings, making it perfect for a demo environment. Users have a range of demonstration options available without leaving Roon and can also integrate Nucleus into Crestron and Control4 systems.
Nucleus is powered by Roon OS, a fast and lightweight operating system that is optimised to browse and play music. By taking a computer out of the mix, it creates a dedicated core that allows users to run more zones at once and tweak settings such as EQ, room correction and speaker setup. Users are also able to save those settings for each zone.
With an elegant, fanless design, Nucleus is an all-in-one solution that offers customers flexibility and ease of use.
