Depending on the desired tests, a test point adapter (TPA-MHL2-8R) is required and one of two 980 modules:

1) 980 HDMI Protocol Analyser module.
2) 980 MHL CBUS Compliance Test module.

The comprehensive solution covers source tests in MHL CTS 2.0 sections: 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 6.3; sink tests in sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, and 6.3; dongle tests in sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 6.3. For a complete list of tests refer to the 980 HDMI Protocol Analyser data sheet, the 980 MHL CBUS Compliance data sheet and the Quantum Data MHL Compliance Coverage matrix. HDCP Compliance tests for MHL source, sink, and dongle devices are also available. The HDCP tests use the Quantum Data 882EA test instrument.

The 980 MHL compliance solutions provide you with the necessary test results and detailed capture logs to enable thorough investigation of anomalies. Unlike other solutions, the 980 MHL compliance test solutions do not require third party external measuring devices.
