Leveraging the incredible growth of Push Controls over the past two years, and Ness’ position as the leading supplier of security alarms and CCTV products in Australia, will expose both manufacturers to new segments of the Australian home automation industry.

The new partnership became effective as of 1 November 2012.

Specifically, the deal will see Push Controls offer its dealers Ness D8/D16 and M1 security panels and associated accessories, Ness IP cameras and IP intercoms, and Ness DVRs. Ness, on the other hand, will stop selling its Genie system to become a reseller of the popular Push PC4 and PC1 control systems.

“The partnership between Ness and Push is truly exciting,” says Push Controls managing director Ben Green.

“Combining our companies’ resources will result in a powerful offering that positions our brands in direct competition with the likes of Control4, RTI and HAI.”

Since its launch in 2010, Push Controls has experienced unprecedented growth to become an important player in the Australasian AV control industry. Despite facing tough competition from long established brands, Push Controls has managed to secure significant industry support by offering resources and development opportunities to manufacturers to provide seamless integration of devices through IP control.

“For the first time ever we are capable of offering a total control solution that is scalable and offers the latest features that industry and customers are demanding. Push Controls has worked closely with Ness on a suite of security packages that will introduce audio visual and integration specialists to easy-to-sell and install solutions,” Ben said.

Ness Corporation national product manager Greg Kingsley adds, “With this new distribution partnership, we see great opportunities not only for Push Controls and Ness, but also our customers, who were the most important factor when putting this deal in place.

“For both companies it is important to be able to provide a full suite of products that interface together simply, while at the same time meeting our customers’ expectations. This deal is a win-win-win for all concerned. We are very excited about the future.”

In addition to this new partnership with Ness, Push Controls will soon be launching Environexus – a retrofit lighting, energy management and climate control solution that will cover every aspect of home automation.
