Since its launch in 2010, Push Controls has experienced unprecedented growth to become an important player in the Australasian AV control industry. Now, in order to keep up with popular demand, the company has appointed interstate sales agents in Queensland and Western Australia to act as the first point of contact for its dealers.

“Push Controls’ commitment to supporting our product is our highest priority,” says Push Controls managing director Ben Green.

“With new additions slated for our product range and the growth of our dealer base in each state, the next logical step for us was to partner with local sales agents and distributors.”

“Searching for the right agent is no easy task. Our pre-requisite was for them to be technically proficient, have experience in automation hardware and to currently promote complementary brands. After meeting with several potential distributors in Queensland and Western Australia we believe we have found the right companies to promote Push Controls.”

The appointment of the new sales agents comes at a time of significant growth for Push Controls, with the successful launch of Push Lite and several exciting new products set for release in coming months, including the game-changing PC1 automation control processor.

“These agents will represent Push Controls and assist new and existing dealers, giving them even better support through local channels,” Ben says.

“After meeting with Laurie Douglas and his team from Audio Industries it was immediately clear that not only are they experienced and dedicated, but they share the same passion for the industry as us.”

“Our meeting with PCA Marketing in WA was of a similar nature. Peter Cutts and his team are well known for their technical knowledge and previous experience with Nevo remote controls.”

According to Audio Industries owner Laurie Douglas, “We spent a lot of time looking for a quality control system that would complement our existing product ranges from Kordz, James Loudspeakers and Napa Sound Labs.

“I was tired of looking overseas for new brands and thought we needed to promote more locallymade products. For that reason we are really proud to represent Push Controls in Queensland.

“Further, it doesn’t hurt that it’s a really good product; once I got to play with it I couldn’t believe how great it was.”

West Australian dealers will undoubtedly be familiar with their new agaent, PCA Marketing, which already represents industry-leading brands Onkyo, Integra, Optoma, Sonance and Accusound.

“Given that Push Controls is growing so quickly, and that Western Australia is so far away, the company really needed someone here on the ground,” says PCA Marketing owner Peter Cutts.

“PCA Marketing is constantly in contact with the local specialist retailers and custom installers, so it makes sense to represent a product that is so complementary with our existing brands.”

The new arrangements are effective as of 23 July 2012.

“Ultimately, these appointments are our attempt to make our dealers’ lives easier, by presenting them with an easily-accessible, local Push Controls representative that better understands their particular State’s needs,” Ben says.

“Push Controls is extremely happy to be working with both Audio Industries and PCA Marketing as our augmented support and commitment to the product will help deliver an improved experience for all our dealers.”

Push Controls is currently looking for a sales agent for the lucrative New South Wales market and hopes to make an appointment shortly.
Victorian dealers will continue to deal directly with Push Controls’ Richmond headquarters.
