Pro-Ject Audio Systems RPM 10.1 Evolution
The original RPM 10 was a higher-specified version of the highly acclaimed EISA award-winning RPM 9 and followed its philosophy of high mass design.
The development of the flagship model Xtension impressively demonstrated that you can successfully combine the advantages of a high mass design and sub-chassis construction. Pro-Ject calls this a mass loaded subchassis.
To do this with the mass of a RPM 10 Pro-Ject had to design heavy duty magnetic feet which are mounted on The Ground It Deluxe 3 platform, supplied as standard with the RPM 10.1 Evolution (also available as a separate item, perfect for any other non-subchassis turntable or even amps and especially CD players).

This heavy metal granulate filled platform ‘floats’, supported by the magnets and making a perfect subchassis.
The main drive unit of the RPM 10.1 Evolution is spiked on the Ground It Deluxe 3, which couples all remaining possible vibrations effectively to the mass of the subchassis.
