PPDS has unveiled the next generation of its Philips MediaSuite hospitality TVs, with the 6000 and 7000 Series set for release in 2026.

The new models feature integrated Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Netflix and cloud gaming capabilities, while bringing Ambilight technology back to hotel rooms and introducing UltraSlim designs.

The 6000 Series, available in 43” to 85”, offers immersive Ambilight LED lighting that adapts to on-screen content, enhancing the cinematic experience while reducing eye strain. The 7000 Series UltraSlim, under 3cm deep, is designed for smaller spaces, including boutique hotel rooms and cruise cabins, with additional protection against salt, dust and humidity.

Both series run on Android OS, giving guests access to thousands of apps via Google Play, secure streaming and Bluetooth headphone functionality. Cloud gaming support allows guests to play via personal subscriptions without a console, while Bandwidth Guard helps hotels manage network usage and reduce operational costs.

“Now, we are changing it up again, going above and beyond to bring guests’ experiences up to date, not just matching their expectations, but surpassing them,” PPDS global director product strategy and partnerships Jeroen Verhaeghe says.

The TVs are the first hotel models to achieve the European Energy Label E rating across multiple sizes, offering enhanced energy efficiency while maintaining high performance. Philips MediaSuite also supports integration with IPTV systems and remote management via PPDS’ CMND platform or hotel PMS.

“Philips MediaSuite with Ambilight transforms the viewing experience in a way no others can. Hotel guests can now enjoy immersive visuals and customisable ambient lighting for the first time,” PPDS global product manager Jan Van Hecke says.

The MediaSuite models aim to deliver the most connected and flexible hotel TV experience yet, combining entertainment, gaming and operational efficiency in a single platform.
