After more than a year of development, QualiFi has launched a new advanced interactive two-way control interface allowing the Philips Pronto hand held control system and Philips Dynalite lighting control and building automation system to work seamlessly together.

Now all Philips Dynalite lighting, blind, temperature and other controls can be monitored and adjusted while roaming anywhere in the home or office, all from the palm of your hand with a wireless Philips Pronto system controller.

The integration between Philips Pronto and Philips Dynalite will be shown at the CEDIA Expo and integrators will be able to see the solution demonstrated on both the QualiFi and Philips Dynalite stands.

“We are really pleased with this latest upgrade making it even more seamless to control an elaborate lighting automation system through the convenience of the handheld Philips Pronto controllers,” QualiFi business manager for control products Joe Salamanca says.

“Pronto brings affordable control solutions to both commercial and residential users without the price tag that is usually expected for such a control device. Any lighting circuit status can easily been seen and controlled via presets and dimming as a Philips Dynalite user would expect.

“The environmental savings will also be a bonus as lighting circuits that are no longer in use can easily be identified and turned off from anywhere in the site with a simple touch of a button on the Philips Pronto control panel.”

Features of the new Philips Dynalite control module include the ability to switch any lighting circuit or preset scene and display the status of any room’s current lighting, dimming level and temperature. Changing a circuit’s dimming is achieved by simply pressing to select the channel or circuit and then rotating the Pronto’s scroll wheel to raise or lower the light level.

A user can even create their own lighting moods and store them to any preset on the Philips Dynalite system further enhancing the lighting experience and eliminating the need for repeat programming visits by a systems programmer.

When lights are on, the control panel will indicate the status via the use of a glowing preset button or dimming level indicator.

Saving energy and the environment is made simple via the information that is seen and easily controlled from anywhere using secure Wi-Fi technology by simply tapping the Pronto touch screen. You can now easily turn off lights in areas that aren’t being used without needing to be in that area.
