Perth’s Ritz Carlton: a six-star experience
A $400 million project that was under construction for three years, The Ritz Carlton in Perth, WA aims to deliver a six-star experience to visitors. Programmed Electrical Technologies (PET) outfitted the project with a range of products from the Amber Technology suite.
The Ritz Carlton wanted to create an optimum audio experience for all public spaces indoor and outdoor. This required a level of volume and clarity perspective for all guests including those with hearing impairments.

PET used the Sonance Pro Series, Sonance Landscape Series, JTS microphones and Williams IR hearing augmentation system for the project.Powder-coated speaker grilles from Sonance meant it could blend in perfectly with the walls and ceilings, and colour match décor and stone pillars.
The Williams IR hearing augmentation system was installed in the five meeting and function rooms which ensured all guests could hear at all times.
The impressive 550m² Elizabeth Quay Ballroom was equipped with high quality Sonance Pro Series speakers and JTS Professional microphones which delivered prime coverage while addressing ceiling height, SPL and sensitivity.
For the outdoor terrace, 14 satellites and four subwoofers were integrated within landscape beds for an exceptional audio performance ideal for this spacious outdoor environment which included a rooftop bar, signature restaurant and heated infinity pool.
“The overall service provided by Programmed Electrical Technologies was very professional and we were very happy with the outcome,” Ritz Carlton hotel project manager Laura Ashcroft says.
