SMART VIERA features such as IPTV, USB record and playback and DLNA networking bring a new dimension to connectivity in the home. This new model offers ‘VIERA Connect’, which allows users to experience a host of new features including catch-up TV, videos, music and internet radio, interactive games and social networking. ABC iView and Yahoo!7’s Plus7 service allow viewers to catch up on their favourite TV shows, and users can also listen to internet radio with SHOUTcast. Users can also access Facebook, Twitter and Skype via their big-screen VIERA.

DLNA networking allows content to be streamed and shared by linking devices via wireless LAN throughout the home.
