Panasonic announces Quickflix promotion for movie buffs

The promotion will see 10,000 lucky consumers receiving a three month ‘Play’ streaming subscription. The gift with purchase promotion commences on October 20 and will run until 31 December with 10,000 subscriptions to be given away.

Panasonic Consumer Electronics Group general manager marketing Richard Tassone says, “This is an exciting offering for Australian viewers. They will be able to access Quickflix streaming with unlimited access to movies and television shows instantly, on demand for three months for free.”

“This promotion is perfect for the Christmas holidays with plenty of child-friendly shows and movies to keep the kids entertained.”

To enter, from October 20 consumers can visit www.panasonic.com.au/smartbonus, follow the prompts to the competition entry page and input the requested details.

Through Panasonic’s cloud-based VIERA Connect platform, users will have unlimited access to Quickflix’s streaming service of hundreds of blockbuster movies and TV shows including the best from HBO and the BBC, all-time kids’ favourites such as Bob the Builder, Teletubbies, and Thomas the Tank Engine – all with no lock in contracts or set top box.

VIERA Connect, available on selected VIERA TVs and Blu-ray and HDD Recorders, ensures that the viewer always has the most up-to-date content without having to worry about upgrades. VIERA Connect features a host of other services including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter; and Skype functionality; as well as ABC iView.

Panasonic’s range of VIERA TVs and Blu-ray and HDD Recorders offer consumers a range of smart features including DLNA to communicate with other devices in the home as well as smartphone compatibility which allows consumers to watch content wirelessly on their smartphone or tablet.
