Panasonic Australia VIERA group marketing manager Matt Pearce says, “This is an exciting new addition to the VIERA Connect platform. VIERA Connect is bringing viewers more choice and flexibility in how they view and interact in their lounge-room from Yahoo!7’s PLUS7, to Skype voice and video calling, and social networking.”

The partnership will allow VIERA Connect users to access Quickflix streaming and watch unlimited movies and television shows instantly, on demand for one low monthly subscription fee. Quickflix subscribers will have access to unlimited hours of viewing from an expanding library of Hollywood’s major studios including Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, NBCUniversal as well as other premium television series from HBO and the BBC.

Quickflix chief executive Chris Taylor says, “We are delighted to expand our digital service to Panasonic devices. We are aggressively growing our content offering, having recently launched products from HBO and the BBC. Quickflix is all about delivering on demand content whenever you want it, wherever you want it, and to that end this partnership is an important milestone in the distribution of our service.”
