On Controls has announced the introduction of their 4.2 software revision that includes many exciting new features and overall operational enhancements. Users can update their On Controls iOS app from the Apple Store and Android app from Google Play free of charge.

APPLE TV MODULE

The new On Controls Apple TV module for iOS devices delivers fast and reliable IP-based two-way control of Apple TV from the On Controls platform using an intuitive gesture pad or traditional button-style interface. This new functionality enables users to browse and control iTunes content such as movies, TV shows, Netflix, Vimeo, photos and more. Users will enjoy the luxury and convenience of detailed meta-data for music and movies such as cover art and artist/title/track information easily visible from any iOS device.

DEVICE SLIDER

Enhance the On Controls user experience by controlling lighting, audio/video equipment and other IP or serial-based smart devices with the new device slider graphic interface. The device slider is a faster, more precise method of controlling components that have discreet levels, such as a volume knob or lighting control. Add speed, reliability and convenience using the new On Controls device slider.

IMMERSIVE FULL-SCREEN MODE

On Controls continues to enhance the user experience, and with our latest release, users now have the ability to remove the top and bottom navigation bars native to their phone or tablet, creating a more full-screen, or “immersive” experience within the control environment.

VERA MODULE ADDITIONS

On Controls has added additional functionality to our Vera module with the addition of horizontal and vertical control capability for applicable shades, blinds and drape elements.

 SE7EN GRAPHIC INTERFACE TEMPLATE

On Controls has developed a sophisticated, highly intuitive graphic template designed to enhance the control experience as part of the 4.2 software revision. Introducing Se7en, a new and impressive way to control smart devices offered exclusively to On Controls users. Designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind, the Se7en GUI offers a completely new look and feel for the modern age with uncluttered controls and an array of gorgeous, customisable screen backgrounds and drawer colors. Access to the Se7en template will be made available to On Controls authorised dealers on Monday, July 27, 2015.
