The new units reduce the signal noise over low cost cable and are backward compatible with all existing models. The T1 and R1 pair support resolutions of 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, and all computer resolutions up to WUXGA (1920×1200) over a distance of 46metres. 1080i/720p and other resolution/formats transmit 61m. Power only the transmitter when using a pair or every third receiver unit when using RD1 Daisy-chain receiver.
