Home management brand Nice has launched its dedicated voice control system with a strong emphasis on how the system deals with data privacy and management.

All voice control systems must listen continuously to know when a request is made, but mainstream service providers not only listen, but they also record and store audio data.

The latest system from Nice offers homeowners confidence by making it impossible for themselves or any third party to possess or use the audio data it records. It only saves encrypted data locally on the hardware residing in the user’s home, making it inaccessible outside the home. Further, it only records brief audio related to spoken commands that follow the prompt “Hey Mylo”.

Other features of the Nice Voice Assistant include native integration, enhanced speed, context intelligence, compound commands, voice trigger phrases and dealer empowerment.
