Home theatre speaker company Atlantic Technology has released a new subwoofer model. New shipments of the flagship SBT series are underway, after a 2018 preview of the product at CEDIA 2018. The speakers are a part of the in-room range that support bigger rooms with home theatre systems.

The two models available are the 500W powered dual 10” SBT-500 and the 1000W dual 12” powered SBT-1000.

The SBT Series has deep bass articulation that keeps soundtrack nuances and musical detail. It includes a 2”, 4-layer voice coil, with Audera Class LH linear hybrid amplifiers. The amps’ high-current contributes to good driver control and headroom while allowing reliable operation.

Main features include dual long-throw composite cone bass drivers, each with a vented motor structure and high temperature, 2”, 4-layer voice coil, ported bass-alignment with braced MDF enclosure, high-efficiency 500 and 1000W amplifiers, volume control, continuous adjustable 40 Hz to 140 Hz, 24dB per octave low pass crossover, low pass/ bypass switch, EQ Switch, absolute phase invert switch, choice of Line In and XLR inputs, main power/automatic standby, LED Status Indicators and 110-120/220-240V (50/60Hz) Input Voltage Switch. These allow for international use with industry standard user detachable cables connecting to the sub’s IEC-320-13 power input socket.
