Equally important is that they retain a high performance level across a much wider range of installation processes than has been previously possible with invisible loudspeakers. Any flexible material of 3mm or less can be used, including topping compound, wallpaper or plaster can be applied across the front surface of the speaker without compromising the performance or fidelity.

“We set the bar extremely high when we embarked on this project,” says Sonance’s parent company, Dana Innovations, chief executive Ari Supran.

“With a goal of creating an entirely new range of Invisible Speakers that deliver the best sonic performance, combined with installation ease and flexibility.”

The other major accomplishment is a Sensitivity of 90dB (1W/1 meter) for the IS4, IS4 SST and ISW, allowing the new Invisible Series to deliver much higher sound pressure levels than previously possible.

With four brand new models in the range, the new Sonance Invisible Series speakers feature an injection molded polypropylene diaphragm, extruded aluminum frame, depth adjustment shims, shallow mounting depth of only 51mm and optional enclosures which creates a sound containment reduction of up to 20dB.
