Entertaining Environments was established after several years’ research, due diligence and study of various industries their governing bodies, associations and their market leaders.

Analysing the success and failures, along with social and popular trends led to the development of the plan for Entertaining Environments.

Founded by Rob Sanders, a twenty plus year AV industry veteran with experience in corporate retail to importing, wholesaling and global manufacturing, EE as it is already affectionately known, is set to challenge the national mass retailers’ grip on consumer electronic sales.

“There is a misnomer that retail is dead. If it were I question the success of someone like Westfield who goes from strength to strength. It is adapting to the changing retail environment giving consumers via its tenants too, the shopping experience they desire. Visit an Apple store if you want further evidence of the positivity of great retail therapy staffed by people who know and love their product.”

Sanders said further; “That proof doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have an online strategy. We have a very strong proposition, but you have to appreciate the difficulties in finding consumers online alone when your message is easily diluted there.”

Entertaining Environments has a three part strategy to marketing, moving through stages, as it builds its membership, supply partners and brand awareness. To borrow a medical term, taking a holistic approach to the business strategy led to the marketing plan that by the final stage is cyclical and self-fulfilling.

Appreciating that successful promotion doesn’t happen by chance EE has identified their specific objective and distribution plan to their targeted audience with national media, radio and television campaigns on the agenda, the support for which comes from the unity of independent resellers and their suppliers, aggregating existing marketing funds and in turn realising other tangible benefits for members and their suppliers through EE systems under long term development.

Entertaining Environments has begun taking members who range from AV resellers, to custom electronic installers, builders, electricians, security professionals, interior designers and architects. The diversity of members means a consumer may well purchase a $2000 solution from a professional who worked with a myriad of trades delivering a million dollar project. The importance is that qualified expertise will enable the consumer to get the best possible solution.

Prospective members and interested supply partners should contact Entertaining Environments at [email protected] or phone (03) 8669 2683.
