MyPlace has launched the MyPlaceIQ Touch Panel QTP, a smart home control panel designed to provide centralised control of connected home systems while supporting future smart home technologies.

The 11” flush-mounted touch screen acts as a central hub for managing compatible air conditioning, lighting and garage door systems through the MyPlaceIQ platform. The Australian-made system is compatible with split, ducted and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air conditioning systems.

MyPlace says the platform is built to accommodate evolving smart home technologies while helping households manage comfort and energy use. MyPlace also says that its smart air conditioning technology can reduce air conditioning energy consumption by up to 46%.

“We designed this touch screen not only to deliver efficiency and control but to elevate the space it lives in. At 11” and sitting flush against the wall, the touch screen effortlessly blends into the aesthetics of each home,” MyPlace group general manager Darren Bee says.

“With energy efficiency a key priority for many families, we knew this updated system needed to be agile and adaptable, ready to integrate new technologies as households continue to evolve their smart home capabilities.”
