Murideo has introduced the STIX generators and analysers, giving users an essential 720p-to-8K HDMI end-to-end testing solution.

The device comes in two small form factors, the first being a STIX MU-STIX-G signal generator and second MU-STIX-A analyser that allows users to generate and analyse EDID, HDCP, 8K video and test small switching or point-to-point distribution.

Murideo product manager Jim Burns explains that the device is versatile and effective, without compromising affordability.

“The Murideo STIX system is an affordable, extremely powerful HDMI testing tool in a very small, lightweight package that is easy to carry with you,” he says.

“STIX are HDMI 2.2 devices, delivering 8K 48Gbps support on both the generator and the analyser.”

Jim says that the tool provides users with an efficient and practical system to test deployed solutions and maintain proper spec.
