MSE Audio, has released applications for its SoundTube IPD Hub 2 DSP Amplifier that shows integrators how to create a Dante-enabled system without a traditional DSP. The IPD Hub 2 is now shipping globally.

The SoundTube IPD Hub 2 is a two-channel Dante amp with a built-in DSP, AES67 compatible and powered by PoE, PoE+ or 40W PoE. With a RJ45 Ethernet connection, it can be used with Radio Design Labs Format A (RDL) or Attero Tech Axiom line level, mic level, balanced XLR or Bluetooth input devices.

Designed for small-to-medium-sized applications including bars, restaurants, hospitality, education facilities and more, the IPD HUB 2 Amplifier can be linked together to distribute audio over large spaces or set up to operate in up to eight zones.

“Value is a big consideration on many projects,” MSE Audio vice president Ken Hecht explains. “The IPD Hub 2 gives integrators Dante-compatible design options that provide a high-tech solution at low-tech prices. We invite our integrators to reach out with their application needs.”

Another ideal application for the IPD Hub 2 is for a classroom or performing arts dressing room with a Dante main feed and a local input. The RVC control can be set to switch between the local and Dante inputs with priority ducking in the room.

MSE Audio is distributed by NAS in Australia.
