Engineered to be heard and not seen with no compromise in performance, the MK Sound architectural speakers is the result of a frameless design. MK Sound architectural speakers do not use the plastic “picture frame” that can be so distracting to interior design.

Like the brand’s cabinet systems, the Architectural Series draws heavily on decades of experience building loudspeakers for demanding pro users. Aldo Filippelli, MK Sound USA says, “All MK Sound flush-mount speakers employ high quality crossover networks based on our proprietary Phase-Focused crossover design to ensure a superb three-dimensional image throughout the room, regardless of speaker placement. ”

Compact magnets attach the white metal grille to the speaker baffle, eliminating the need for an unattractive frame around the speaker. To create the perfect match between the speaker and your wall or ceiling, simply paint the grille to match your interior.

The latest addition to the MK Sound Architectural Series is designed to match the sound reproduction of the MK Sound M Series satellites. IW5 is fitted with a 4” mid-bass drive unit and a compact 1” neodymium dome high frequency driver that are integrated via a high quality crossover network. Spring-loaded terminals with polarity markings make connection an easy operation. The steel front baffle with solid mounting brackets ensures rigid installation.

Supplied with both round and square front grilles that allow the owner to determine the final visual impression of the system, the IW5 is the compact choice for flush-mount speakers that deliver consistent sound quality across large spaces or multiple zones.
