Miri Technologies launches miriOS software platform
Miri Technologies, distributed by Corsair Solutions in Australia, has unveiled miriOS, a software platform for network routers, at NAB Show New York, marking a major expansion of its fault-tolerant connectivity solutions.
Miri’s technology combines multiple connections, including WiFi, 4G, 5G and Starlink, to deliver resilient, high-speed internet in challenging environments. Powered by Speedify bonding technology from Connectify, Miri’s solutions support applications such as live streaming, broadcast contribution, business continuity and disaster response.

Built on OpenWrt and integrated with Speedify, miriOS extends Miri’s connectivity platform beyond its own hardware to select third-party routers, starting with the GL.iNet Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) travel router. Users can bond, load balance or switch between Ethernet, WiFi and USB-tethered mobile internet connections.
“Miri X510 is built for mission-critical professional use, but many users want the same reliability with simpler hardware,” Miri Technologies co-founder and chief technology officer Ryan Brenneman says.
“miriOS on the Beryl AX offers a cost-effective entry point to our connectivity platform, and we’re eager to gather user feedback as we open beta testing.”
Ahead of the miriOS release, Miri will roll out a firmware update for the X510 router, adding features such as a new Load Balancing mode alongside existing Bonding mode, and Speedify’s Performance-Enhancing Proxy (PEP) for faster data throughput. Enhanced jitter-handling tools will also improve stream stability, particularly for platforms using legacy RTMP protocols.
The X510 can bond up to seven direct connections and data from 20 mobile devices via Speedify’s Pair and Share feature, reinforcing Miri’s goal of delivering resilient, adaptable connectivity anywhere.
