At CEDIA Expo 2018, Meridian will demonstrate how its products can be integrated into a complete home theatre solution using its free Design and Specification Service. Attendees can bring their plans to the show and use this service to create high performance schemes, saving hours of design time on a project.

Meridian will showcase how installers can achieve immersive, hi-res audio using its 271 Digital Theatre Controller. The 271 is designed to integrate any analogue or digital AV processor or receiver on the market with Meridian’s DSP loudspeakers for advanced home theatre performance. It offers 16 unbalanced inputs, 16 balanced inputs and the option of 16 digital inputs, depending on the user’s choice of processor.

Meridian’s 200 Series will also be on show, featuring the 251 Powered Zone Controller, 218 Zone Controller, and its 258 Hi-Res Eight Channel Power Amplifier. Its compact design features two cool-running channels of onboard amplification enabled for high-resolution audio including Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) audio. The Meridian 258 can be integrated with any existing passive loudspeaker system.

On display at CEDIA Expo, the UHD722 Ultra High Definition Audio Processor is a 4K switching solution, incorporating Multichannel Meridian High Resolution (MMHR) output. This enables connection to existing processors, which results in uplift in the audio system’s sound quality. The UHD722 features Meridian’s unique high resolution Upsampling and Apodising technologies to offer the best possible performance from Blu-ray Disc, satellite/TV receivers and gaming consoles.
