Meridian Audio celebrates 40th anniversaryMeridian Audio, which is distributed in Australia by Wavetrain, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and as part of the occasion the company has announced a number of product launches, partnerships and events.

Throughout 2017, Meridian is introducing new, innovative products and has announced the first of these will take place at a 40th anniversary event at CEDIA San Diego on the evening of Friday 8 September. This will be followed by a product launch in London later in September and at ISE 2018, where additional new products will be unveiled to the European market as a continuation of the 40th anniversary celebrations.

The company is also developing partnerships that will give dealers access to a comprehensive range of premium home cinema solutions. This includes partnerships with Barco, DT Screens and Cinema-ATS.  Meridian’s complimentary Design and Specification Service integrates all of its partners’ technology to make it quicker and easier for integrators to specify the right products for installation projects.

Meridian has also recently launched its Dealer School training initiative, which is hosted in the demo home theatre at Meridian head quarters in Huntingdon. The initiative focuses on giving dealers the full range of skills they need to design and create unbeatable home theatres, with integrators able to participate in new dedicated training sessions on four key areas, as well as two existing courses.
