McIntosh, distributed by Synergy Audio Visual, has announced that its MSA5500 streaming integrated amplifier now supports Qobuz Connect, expanding its suite of streaming options.

While already compatible with Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, the addition of Qobuz Connect allows users to stream directly from the Qobuz app to the amplifier. No third-party apps or workarounds are required.

This direct integration aims to streamline the user experience while preserving the high-resolution audio quality for which both McIntosh and Qobuz are known. With over 100 million tracks available in hi-res (up to 24-bit/192kHz) and lossless/CD quality, Qobuz distinguishes itself through expertly curated content, in-depth editorial features and a commitment to sound purity.
